Harry had a little bit of a fever last night so we were up with him every few hours last night. He is fine now but we took the morning off to get some rest. We had a privacy sign on our door and when we eventually did leave our room we found a nice goodie bag of towels and soap. Harry was well enough to do a full lap around the World Showcase though later that day.

It was a very hot day yesterday, that might have had something to do with it, although he did not get sunburned. In the middle of the night when he woke up crying for mama was when I first noticed he felt alarmingly hot. I gave him a cool bath (which he hated) and just kept sponging a cool washcloth on his head while he slept, trying to get him to drink something whenever he woke up. Thankfully the resort gift shop sells infant acetaminophen (ie. Tempra) so I gave him that in the morning when they opened and it brought his temperature down almost right away. Just need to watch that he keeps drinking enough fluids, and that we take frequent breaks from the heat by ducking into air conditioned buildings whenever possible. One reason to be grateful that you’re never far away from a gift shop here!
