We all walked through this great hall with totem poles and big windows overlooking the Ottawa River. Then John took Harry through the rest of the historical exhibits while the girls went back to play in the children’s museum.

The Canadian History Museum is right across the river from Parliament Hill. We took our snack breaks outside here.

The girls enjoyed playing in the Wild Bird Clinic. Any time we saw birds Poppy exclaimed, “Birdies! Tweet tweet!”

This scale tells you how many wild turkeys you weigh.
