Had to call the credit card company

Our transaction failed while trying to buy the lightsabers for the kids so we had to use a different card. I called the bank and was told they’ll have to call me back to verify some transactions.

This also happened to my mother while she was down in Disney World a few weeks earlier with the same a card on the same account.

I was planning to cancel this card anyway due to the changes to the reward system so this is the final nail in the coffin.

Bye-bye Brim Financial MasterCard. You stink!

Snow White, a Sword in the Stone and Ice Cream

On our way to Galaxy‘s Edge, we went through Fantasyland to ride Snow White, which we still hadn’t gotten to.

Since Fantasyland is so old, the queues do not accommodate accessibility vehicles like a scooter very well.

What they do instead is they give you a return time. Instead of us waiting in line we went and got ice cream and then returned to the queue after we finished.

More lightsabers

At about 3:00 PM while still in Tomorrowland, we decided to head down to Star Tours to let the kids build their own lightsabers.

It was quite a fun little experience for them.

Apparently, my son has joined the Darkside, but my girls are Jedi.

Finding Nemo Submarine Ride

At around 2:45 PM we went on the Finding Nemo submarine ride.

It was kind of a neat experience as we were partially submerged and could see interesting things out our porthole, including scenes with Nemo from Finding Nemo. I do wonder how they were able to mix screens and being able to see the actual underwater scenary at the same time.

 Autopia

Headed over to Tomorrowland and went on Autopia around 2:15 PM. These are like little go-karts but on a track. Little Harry went on all by himself and seem to do quite well. I went with Daisy and Leanne went with Magnolia.

We let the girls drive. That was not a good idea.

The girls couldn’t hold the car steady in the middle of the track which meant we kept bashing the edges of the track which was quite a jarring experience. This meant that I had to drive the car with only my left hand with my left foot on the accelerator. The accelerator was also the break when you let up on the gas.

It was quite exhausting.

Savi’s Workshop

Arrived early around 11:05 AM. We had to wait around a bit.

Unlike Disney Hollywood Studios, they allow you to bring in two guests. Harry, myself and princess Daisy did the experience together.

Second day at Disneyland

Arrived at the park at 8 AM. Went on Buzz Lightyear and then Star Tours. Next stop is Bibiddi Bobiddi Boutique for Daisy’s appointment.

The girls held hands the entire way from our hotel to the park. A security guard bowed to them and said, “Princesses!”

Left USH at approximately 7:30 PM

Topped up the tank of our minivan with some gas at about 8:30 PM and dropped off our rental vehicle at the Alamo right beside our hotel a few minutes later.

Both Daisy and Magnolia fell asleep on the way home.

The kids on our way out of Universal Studios Hollywood

Finding our car

Leaving the park was fairly simple. We parked in the Jurassic parking lot and of course, as we always do, took a picture of the sign in front of our car to indicate the correct parking lot to return to. However, the signage in Universal Studios Hollywood absolutely stinks. They should fire everyone related to parking and signage at Universal.

We must’ve spent a good 20 minutes or so taking an elevator to various levels of the parking garage to try and find the correct level. You’d think that the B1 level would be the correct one, but it only took us to B1J and B1K not B1L. And again there is no signage to indicate how to get to B1L from B1J and B1K.

We did eventually make it out of Universal parking structure in a vehicle. The vehicle we brought.

We had to walk down a ramp to get there which it was not very safe, but who cares we made it.

I know they say that LA traffic is bad but in our experience, it’s the parking!

Shopping

After dinner, we let the kids go shopping. We went through a few stores in Hogsmeade. Daisy bought an interactive wand at Olivanders and Maggie bought a cheaper one that just lights up.

On our way out of the park, the kids spent more of their money at the Nintendo store to get some more plush Nintendo characters.
