Poppy! She went back to sleep at 6am when we put her in the car. She didn’t wake up until we were about the 2nd car in line at the border. Luckily she went right back to sleep.

She didn’t give us any trouble all day until dinner time as the food service was a little on the slower side.

I don’t remember the coffee being this bad when I was in the US last time. The McDonald’s coffee down here is much much different than what we have at home. Now I understand why Americans spend the big bucks at Starbucks because that is the only option for a decent cup of coffee apparently.

Grandma stayed up top while the six of us walked down to get a good look at the bridge.

The kids were exhausted upon our return.

Not bad.

We were quite delayed because of an accident and traffic on our way to Princeton West Virginia. We eventually stopped for lunch at Chick-fil-A, which was my very first time there.

If you compare camping in a tent to this lodging, you will be overwhelmingly impressed.

It is better than sleeping in the van.

Staff were friendly.
