We could see the Frozen Spectacular fireworks at Hollywood Studios from our room. We have a great view of the lake and the Art of Animation resort.

Dinner at POP Century
Dinner at Everything POP. Meatball sub and turkey sandwich. I’ll post pictures of the desert before we eat them. We had strawberry milk!
Finally asleep
Little Harry finally fell asleep on the bus. He didn’t even wake up when we got off.
Back at MCO :(
Airport. Magic express picked us up at Pop Century around 8:25am. Watched Disney branded America’s funniest home videos on bus. Arrived at airport about 9:00am. Had to check luggage at airport because of Southwest and AirTran merger causing issues. Security was pretty quick, maybe 10min. Much better than Buffalo
Last breakfast at POP Century
Last Breakfast at POP Century. Actually managed to use all our credits.
POP Century Photos
Pop Century resort
Pool at POP Century
Our hotel pool (which we have no time to swim in, haha).
POP Century 1950s
We are staying in one of the 1950’s buildings, with these giant Lady and the Tramp statues. One of my favourite classic Disney movies 🙂
Nice view outside our room
Everything Mickey
Mickey shaped towels. Mickey bed spread.
Magical luggage
Luggage magically appeared in our room.
Cute Mickey Soaps
Our room: Cute Mickey soaps!
Arrived at Pop Century at 11:30am. Got our Magic Bands. Got our mugs. Had iced tea in mugs. Went to room. We are in 50s’ section. Dumped carry-on luggage in room. Got a bus to Hollywood Studios. Arrived at Hollywood studios at 12:35pm.
Magic Bands are ready
According to Disney My Experience website our customized Magic Bands are waiting for us at Pop Century. Maybe they will ship them to Canada for our next trip.
Received a letter from Disney today telling us we will not be getting a fridge in our room. It wasn’t actually a surprise as I read about Disney’s in-room refrigerator problems several months ago but it was nice of Disney to send us a letter letting us know about it before we get down there. We really don’t need a fridge since we will be at the parks all day and will only be in our room to sleep. I guess we could have put bottled water in it or something. There’s always the ice machines.
So we’re going back to Disney World again this year. We were just there in May 2012, but my wife and I can’t wait to go back. This time we will be staying on site to take advantage of the September Free Dining promotion. While there are definitely much cheaper places to go for a vacation, no other place has the same appeal to us that Disney World does. Despite the kid-friendliness of the parks, which can become a little tiresome after awhile, there is just so much that appeals to me. This will be my fourth trip to Disney World, my third as an adult (a real adult, not a Disney 10+ one). I actually think I enjoy Disney World so much more as an adult. It might have something to do with my technology background but I love going through the parks trying to figure out how everything works. Disney World also appeals to the Entrepreneur in me. I love trying to estimate their costs and revenue as I wonder through the parks. I pretend to see all the people the way Disney World sees them, with big dollar signs on their heads.
